The number of Chinese people traveling abroad has been increasing from less than 60,000,000 in 2010 to about 150,000,000 in 2018. In recent years, more and more people choose to take a holiday abroad.
There are various reasons that account for the phenomenon. First, with the living standards improved, people have higher spiritual pursuit and they want to see the world. Second, the process of going aboard has been simplified and Chinese people have been granted visa-free travel to some countries. So it is easier for Chinese people to go abroad now. Third, it is possibly associated with the purchasing power of Chinese people. As Chinese people become richer, they want to spend much money in purchasing goods while traveling abroad.
In my view, traveling abroad is a very exciting experience because we can not only see the fantastic scenery in different countries but also broaden our horizons. Meanwhile, we should plan our travel rationally instead of following suit.
