[Abstract] Objective This paper tries to investigate the effect of trimetazidine in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease. Methods 94 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease from December 2015 to December 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups， with 47 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment； the observation group was given trimetazidine on the basis of the control group. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.49%， significantly better than that of the control group 76.59%（P0.05）， the number of angina attacks in the observation group was （3.1±0.1）times/week， and the duration was （3.7±0.5）minutes， significantly better than those in the control group （P统计学意义（P>0.05）。
1.2 治疗方法
对照组给予常规治疗，包括肠溶阿司匹林、他汀类、硝酸酯类、血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂、强心剂等，进行3个月治疗；观察组在对照组的基础上给予曲美他嗪片（20 mg/片，国药准字H20055465）20 mg口服，3次/d，连服3个月。
