To the Editor,
I'm a middle school student. I think it is important to protect tigers. Yesterday I heard a report about saving tigers. It said that the population of wild tigers in China now is leSS than fifty. That's surprising! There are two main reasons for this. One is that some people kill tigers to make money. The other reason is that people cut down lots of forests, so tigers have fewer places to live and less food to eat. We must save the trees and ask people not to buy things made of tiger skins. I also hope that the government will take steps to pass laws to protect tigers from being killed. It's not just for the tigers.
We should all work together to make the earth a safe home both for humans and animals.
