Wang Bo, who is considered to be one of themost distinguished poets of the Tang Dynasty in China, was born in 650 and diedin 676.
Wang Bo showed his cleverness at an earlyage, being able to create poems at six and read extensively at ten. From 12 to14, he went to learn medicine. Although he died young, he left us manyexcellent poems, one of which is Preface to Tengwang Pavilion, which isregarded as one of the greatest works in Chinese literature.
He was honoured as the top of Four GreatPoets of the early Tang Dynasty. His parallel prose is highly admired by Chineseas well as other people throughout the world.
