Today I came across a depressing scene onmy way home after school. When a schoolboy found that a 100-yuan note wasdropping from the bag of a gentleman, he reminded him of the fact. However, thegentleman did not respond to him at all, thinking the boy must be a cheat.
From a very young age, we are told not totalk to strangers for safety. Unfortunately, the price we pay for safety is thatpeople always suspect others of taking advantage of them and that there is notrust between strangers. I believe most people are honest.
