With regard to whether it is proper to share students’ test scores in class WeChat group, we have different opinions.
Some students are in favor of this idea. They think this can help them compare their own scores with others’ so that they can find out the gap and try to catch up. In addition, their parents can timely learn about their performance at school and pay more attention to their study.
However, others disagree. They think this will hurt some students’ self-esteem, especially those whose scores are not good enough. In this way, they will feel too stressed or even have some mental problems.
In my opinion, sharing our scores in class WeChat group is not a good idea. First, test scores are students’ privacy. As high school students, we’re old enough to be responsible for our study. Besides, I don’t want my parents to compare me with others. If so, they may have high expectations for my study which I can’t live up to.
