As we can see from the picture above, there is a garbage can filled with various foods, many of which are in good condition.
With the rapid development of economy and technology, plenty of quality foods are produced. The earth has witnessed a great improvement in people’s living standard while it has also seen the shocking scenes of some people’s wasting foods. On the one hand, wasting food can put great pressure on the environment. On the other hand, many people are still suffering from starvation. So it can be of great significance to handle the issues of food wastage.
One of the most effective approaches, I think, is to let everyone be aware of the importance of saving foods. Additionally, we should work out some good ways to make full use of the foods that some people don’t want. For instance, we can establish food banks to collect those foods that are still in good condition, and allow the homeless and those in need to get what they want there.
