[Abstract] Objective To explore and analyze the effect of motor imagery therapy combined with electrical stimulation in the treatment of stroke complicated with dysphagia. Methods From November 2015 to December 2016， 86 patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke who were admitted to our hospital were selected. According to their different treatment methods， the patients were randomly divided into control group and study group. The control group was given conventional swallowing training， and the study group was further given motor imagery therapy combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy on the basis of conventional swallowing training. The curative effect and the impact on quality of life were compared between the two groups of patients. Results There was no significant difference in the scores of water swallow test and VFSS between the two groups before the treatment（P>0.05）.
