I think highly of what has been done by the government of Mexico. The measures will have a positive effect on people because taking too much high-calorie food and soft drinks can lead to overweight and other kinds of diseases. If people suffer from diseases, the government has to spend a large amount of money on their medical care.
The passage reminds me of my friend Tom, who is addicted to drinking soft drinks and has become very fat. He is often laughed at by other students and has no confidence in himself. As a result, his academic performance is getting worse and worse.
Therefore, it’s time that we took measures to fight against overweight. What we should do is keep a balanced diet and stay away from high-calorie food and soft drinks.
